We are looking for a technical writer for our documentation department who can present complex technical content in a clear, concise, and user-friendly manner. Your tasks will include creating, maintaining, and updating technical documentation (e.g., user manuals, assembly instructions, training materials), researching technical information in collaboration with development, design, and product management, applying and maintaining editorial systems and terminology databases, ensuring compliance with standards and guidelines (e.g., DIN EN 82079, ISO standards, CE markings), coordinate and monitor translation processes, and help optimize documentation processes.
You have a degree in technical editing, technical communication, engineering, or a comparable qualification. You have experience in technical documentation or a related technical field. You have good language and communication skills in German and English. You are familiar with editorial systems (e.g., Schema ST4, MadCap Flare, COSIMA, DocuWare) and graphics/layout software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, FrameMaker).
